THANK YOU for being part of the 9th Annual Friends & Family Tennis Tournament!
The weather could not have been more perfect (thank you, Karen, for making that happen!), and it was such a joy to see so many familiar and new faces come together for a day of tennis, laughter, and community.
Every year this tournament continues to grow, and this year was no exception. This was officially our biggest tournament yet! Together, we welcomed a record number of participants and raised over $6,000 in support of the Eva Rothwell Centre. What an amazing milestone! A Few Thank Yous
Behind every great tournament is an even greater group of people. I’d love to take a moment to recognize a few of them:
- A heartfelt thank you to Rosedale Tennis Club for their continued partnership and for welcoming us back to the courts year after year.
- To our incredible volunteers- especially Theresa and her amazing bake sale crew, our court volunteers, and everyone who pitched in behind the scenes- thank you for giving your time, energy, and enthusiasm.
- Thank you as well to our prize donors- TiCats, Forge FC, Tennis Canada, the Ontario Tennis Association, Babolat, Wilson, and SportChek- for helping make the day even more special.
- And finally, thank you to every single person who played, donated, volunteered, baked, cheered someone on, or simply helped spread the word. Whether this was your first tournament or your ninth, you are the reason this event continues to grow. We couldn’t do it without you!

Looking Ahead…
Next year is a big one. The 10th Annual Friends & Family Tennis Tournament is happening on Saturday, June 19, 2027.
I know I say it every year, but this time I really mean it. Next year is going to be something special. As we celebrate the 10th Annual Friends & Family Tennis Tournament, we’re planning to go big to honour a decade of this incredible event and the amazing community that has made it possible. Mark your calendars- we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
