Most certainly!  We recommend that new members take one lesson with our head pro in order to be ‘rated’.  He can provide you with information as to which members would be best suited for you to play.  You can also check our Club News – Bulletin Board or the ‘Online Booking > Find a Partner which will provide you with information on members looking for matches.  You can contact these members to directly to arrange a match.  You will find our members very friendly and eager to play!

Unfortunately, everyone has a varying opinion regarding weather conditions.  We recommend you contact the Club for an update on current court playability and/or closures.  In severe weather the club would be closed and no court fees would be charged.

We ask that you provide 24hrs (minimum) notice when cancelling a reservation.  if you cancel the booking with less than the requested 24hrs notice or fail to show up at the reservation time, and we cannot rebook the court, you will be charged the court fee.  You do have the option of finding a replacement player to avoid being charged.

Although we do sometimes have players ‘drop in’ to play without a reservation, we strongly recommend that courts and playing time be booked in advance (either in person, by calling our staff or using our Rosedale Tennis Club Online Booking portal.  Courts can be reserved for 60 minutes or 120 minutes per reservation.  Court times may be extended depending on availability.

In the Summer season (Apr 1st to Oct 31st) the outdoor courts are also available and there is a better chance of securing a last minute booking.  Please note – there are times that even these courts become fully booked.

There are two ways to schedule private/semi-private lessons with one of our coaching staff.
